Department of Veterans Affairs SDTC Program Recognized as a 2019 FedHealthIT Innovation Award Winner
Herndon, VA (May 20, 2019) – The Salesforce Digital Transformation Center (DTC) was established in 2016 by the Veterans Affairs Center for Innovation, designed as a Center of Excellence for Salesforce and other SaaS technologies across the VA. Since 2017, the team has worked to build on the DTC’s foundation creating and enforcing development standards and guidelines to support the system administration.

The VA’s award winning program currently supports a White House hotline case management tool for Veteran inquiries to the President, a module to coordinate academic detailing programs in the Veteran Health Administration (VHA), and a time-tracking application for Veteran Benefits Administration employees.
The 5th annual FedHealthIT Innovation Awards will be held in Washington, DC on June 11th. The event brings together more than 300 Federal Health leaders from Government and industry to recognize the top programs driving innovation and results supporting the Veterans Affairs, Military Health, Health and Human Services, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
