B3 Group, Inc. CEO Leads Round Table Panels for Veterans

Springfield, VA, March 23, 2016: As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Company, VVVB3 Group, Inc. understands the importance of contributing efforts in support of Veteran Success. Moreover, B3 Group, Inc. is a certified company for Virginia Values Veterans. As such, CEO Dwight Hunt, a Veteran himself, understands the crucial need for outreach in the Veteran community.
Recently, Mr. Hunt participated in two events supporting the Veteran Success Resource Group (VSRG). VSRG enables Post-9/11 Veterans who served in Iraq and was founded by two seriously injured Veterans who took advantage of available resources and became Veteran entrepreneurs. The organization provides local Veteran Resource Expos, free of charge, so that our Veterans can access needed resources close to their own homes. Veterans and their families can come to VSRG events and connect with a wide variety of organizations and institutions that can support them with any issues related to employment, education, health, housing and business. At the events, Dwight held round table discussion panels on Business Ownership basics and starting a small company, and another on Federal contracts and the acquisition process.
Continuing in his Veteran outreach dedication with VSRG, Mr. Hunt traveled to New York City to facilitate discussions again on Federal contracting and small business ownership. The first event was sponsored by VSRG in partnership with City Teach on October 20th. It was free and open to all Veterans, Active Duty, and their families and caregivers. A multitude of resources were available at the Expo, including, but not limited to: funding sources for Veteran-owned businesses, Federal, State and City Government opportunities, and PTSD, TBI and suicide prevention education. Following the success of the New York roundtables, Dwight lead panels at the Veteran Resource Expo and Access to Capital event in March 23, 2016 in Springfield, Virginia American Legion Post.
B3 Group, Inc. plans to continue in its support of Veterans, as it supports philanthropic groups and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, both personally and professionally.
