Leesburg, VA September 14, 2017 – B3 Group, Inc. has been awarded the Clozapine Modernization contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The National Clozapine Coordinating Center (NCCC) is responsible for the VA’s compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-mandated Clozapine Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS).  The NCCC’s responsibility includes the enterprise-wide tracking of clozapine prescriptions and monitoring of compliance with FDA requirements.  The NCCC is a tenant organization at the Dallas VA Medical Center (VAMC) which is part of the VA’s North Texas Healthcare System.  The NCCC’s mission and VA’s clozapine processes are supported by software in the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) Mental Health and Pharmacy applications, VistA data files, and an external database.
On this contract, B3 Group and our partner Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS) will provide the necessary services in accordance with VA and industry acceptable practices and standards in delivering technical requirements analysis, database and software design, development, integration, testing, implementation, release support, warranty support and documentation supporting the Clozapine Modernization project to relocate the RUCL namespace and replace the VA National Clozapine Registry database. B3 Group and DSS are looking forward to supporting VA and supporting the mission critical functions of this project.

Leesburg, VA September 11, 2017 – B3 Group, Inc. has been awarded the Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) Support Services Support contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) is a central collection of standardized databases integrating key enterprise-wide clinical, administrative, and financial data to provide a unified view of VA.  The CDW strategy includes standard information, standard architectures, and standard tools that management needs to have access to data to support management decision making.  Business Intelligence Services Line (BISL) requires support services for the CDW teams. Core services include development and implementation of Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Integration Services (SSIS) Enterprise Architecture, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Enterprise Architecture, Pyramid Analytics Enterprise Architecture, Geospatial Information System (GIS) Enterprise Architecture, and SharePoint Enterprise Architecture.  Core services also include Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) programming using SSIS to support adding new data domains to the CDW, creation and maintenance of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes, CDW Enclave Windows System Administration services, Cache Shadow support services, and CDW Customer Service support.

Though this project, B3 Group and our teammates will shall develop, implement and maintain ETL scripts for CDW data domains; develop, implement and maintain SSAS cubes for CDW projects; develop, implement and maintain Pyramid Analytics dashboards; develop, implement and maintain the CDW database environment; develop, implement and maintain net based BISL applications; develop, implement and maintain GIS applications. We will also provide VA support for:  Windows system administration, Cache Shadow system administration, SharePoint system administration, and Business Intelligence (BI) project management. B3 Group and its partners are looking forward to supporting VA and the mission critical functions of this project.

Leesburg, VA September 8, 2017 – B3 Group, Inc. has been awarded the $14.6 Million Salesforce Digital Transformation Center Support contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Center for Innovation (VACI) has established a VA-wide Digital Transformation Center (DTC) to improve VA’s ability to support the Veteran through the use of rapid, incremental improvements in information technology (IT) capabilities, driving a genuine working partnership between the business and IT and utilizing Software as a Service (SaaS) technology as a transformation enabler.

The current VA Salesforce environment includes several dozen Force.com platform applications and modules, an enterprise customer relationship management (CRM) implementation, and several contact center implementations operated via the Service Cloud.

On this strategic project, B3 Group, teamed with our partners Millsapps, Ballinger & Associates (MB&A) and Privateer I, will assist in the maintenance and updates of the Standards and Governance established by the current DTC and provide technical and operational support to the DTC for the Salesforce platform and products including Force.com.

Team B3 Group will also be responsible to update the standards and governance of the DTC to include additional cloud technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mulesoft and Informatica.

For these additional cloud technologies, B3 Group will also provide technical and operational support to the DTC. Under this contract, we will also be responsible to provide system integration services to support all aspects of the DTC as well as provide Tier 1 Helpdesk support.

B3 Group Awarded VA eCPIC Support Contract

Leesburg, VA June 6, 2016 B3 Group, Inc. has been awarded the eCPIC Support contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs, in support of the Office of Information & Technology (OI&T), IT Programming and Budget Formulation (ITPBF) Service.

The ITPBF Service is charged with formulating the annual IT budget – to this end, the Budget Formulation branch of ITPBF administers the data collection, generation and subsequent submission of the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) Exhibit 53 (Agency IT Portfolio) and Exhibit 300As (Investment Business Case) to the Federal Information Technology Dashboard. To support these submission efforts that occur twice a year, ITPBF currently uses the Electronic Capital Planning & Investment Control (eCPIC) tool. B3 Group will be providing the ITBF Service with support for the activities associated with its instance of eCPIC and the submission of the Exhibit 300As and Exhibit 53 via the eCPIC tool.
